What excites you about this summer? Returning to a community that I love and meeting new people! (Note: Travis was a GreaterWorks intern in Mon Valley in 2007-2008)

Hometown/ Current Town: Rock Rapids, Iowa

What excites you about this summer? Relationships and relational ministry.  On a lighter note, wearing my Twins hat on the East Coast! (Yankees territory)

Nachelle Kaughman (Philadelphia, Schuylkill Co. and Lynn)

About me:   I am a full time Recruiter for YouthWorks Staff.  I went to MidAmerica Nazarene University in KS and graduated with a degree in Sociology.  This will be my fifth summer working for YouthWorks and I have worked three years in the YouthWorks main office.

What excites you about working for YouthWorks this summer as an Area Director?  I am excited to see 9 months of recruiting efforts come into fruition as 283 staff disperse across the country to serve the Lord, youth and communities.

Tyler Roark (Coastal ME, Rutland and Adirondack Mtns.)

About me: I am living in Manhattan, KS, where I attended Kansas State University.  I am currently working for a church in which some of our members and myself will be planting an intentional community in Kansas City next year.  I have worked for YouthWorks for 3 summers and after this summer will have traveled to 43 of the 50 states.

What excited you about working for YouthWorks this summer as an Area Director? I am excited to be able to impact multiple communities this summer, travel and encourage.

Ben Capps (Mon Valley, Steubenville and Niagara Falls)

About me: I currently live in an apartment in North Minneapolis.  I work at YouthWorks recruiting year round.  I was baptized into YW in 2007 as an SD in Houma, LA and spent the next year in Minneapolis.  I grew up in Northeast Ohio and went to Malone College where I studied liberal arts concentrating in bible/theology, cross cultural studies and biology.  I am also engaged.

What excites you about working for YouthWorks this summer as an Area Director? I’m excited for change and progress.  I am so excited to be driving around my stomping grounds and interacting with people who communicate like I do! :-) Summer is kinda like Christmas in the North Pole for YW full time staff.  So naturally…I’m pumped.

Becky Fuller (Queens, Brooklyn and DC)

About me: I am  a Chicago native, though I have spent the last three years living in Minneapolis and working for YouthWorks.  This is my second year as a full-time Area Director, partnering with 8 incredible communities on the East Coast. I received my undergraduate degree from Judson University in Youth Ministry/Adolescent Studies with a Multi-cultural concentration. I look forward to continuing missions work, and have a heart not only for children and youth, but a passion for travel and learning about communities and cultures.

 

What excites you about working for YouthWorks this summer as an Area Director?  I absolutely love the East coast and am continually blessed by the people there.  Summers area always an incredible time of serving, learning and growing as I get to work with our wonderful staff, participants and community friends.

Kelly Daniels (West Virginia)

About me: I am a full time AD for YouthWorks.  This will be my third summer on staff.  I have served in rural TN and Mon Valley in the past and enjoyed the craziness that is YouthWorks so much that I interned with GreaterWorks in Mon Valley before moving to Minneapolis last year. As for my education, I went to Huntington University in Indiana and received a degree in Family and Children’s Ministry and Sociology. I love kids!

What excites you about working for YouthWorks this summer as an Area Director?  Being a part of not 1, but 4! Youthworks communities!  I look forward to staff, community, and YW students–to be able to interact and learn from each other.
